Job summary

Emanate Health in West Covina, CA is seeking a Monitor Tech who observes and interprets patients' cardiac rhythms, responds to alarms, and informs the RN of variances for timely assessment.

You greet staff at the nurses' station, transcribe orders, handle unit-based non-clinical duties related to admission, discharge and transfer, and perform related tasks such as organizing station activities and receiving medication from pharmacy for nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; knowledge of medical terminology preferred; EKG interpretation class required.
• Minimum Experience: Prior unit secretary experience preferred; excellent customer service skills required.
• Minimum License: BLS required.
