Emanate Health in West Covina, CA seeks a Monitor Tech to observe and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms and respond to alarms. You will greet staff, transcribe orders, and perform unit-based non-clinical duties related to admissions, discharges, and transfers.
You will also organize the nurses' station, accept medications from pharmacy, and hand them to the assigned nurse, supporting smooth patient care workflows.

The monitor tech observes and interprets patients' cardiac rhythm status and listens for alarms. Informs the RN of variances to initiate examination of the patient. Greets people at the nurses' station and answers their questions or refers them to appropriate staff members. Transcribes medical orders. Performs unit based non-clinical duties related to the admission, discharge and transfer of patients. Organizes activities at the nurses' station. Accepts patient medications from pharmacy or tube station and gives directly to the charge nurse or assigned nurse.
Pay Range: $21.00 - $31.50
