Job summary

Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL seeks a Telemetry Monitor Technician for the ICU on the day shift. This full-time role involves 36 hours per week, monitoring cardiac rhythms and communicating changes to nurses to support patient safety.

What You'll Do

• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and identify potential changes or abnormalities.
• Promptly communicate significant findings to nursing staff for further assessment.

• Apply age-appropriate knowledge of growth and development when appropriate to patient monitoring.
• Support the ICU team through accurate, attentive, and dependable telemetry monitoring.
• Maintain a calm, focused approach in a fast-paced clinical environment.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification preferred, but not required.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Willingness to complete Gateway Regional Medical Center's basic dysrhythmia training - training is provided.
• Previous telemetry or healthcare experience is preferred.
