Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL is hiring a Telemetry Monitor Technician to join the ICU team on the day shift. Full-time, days, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, 36 hours per week, $16.20-$24.30 per hour based on experience.

In this role, you will monitor cardiac rhythms continuously and communicate significant changes to the nursing team, supporting patient safety in a high-acuity hospital setting. Training is provided to build the necessary skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• CNA certification preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to complete Gateway Regional Medical Center's basic dysrhythmia training.
• Previous telemetry or healthcare experience preferred.
• New graduates and candidates entering healthcare are welcome to apply!

• Promptly communicate significant findings to nursing staff for further assessment.
• Maintain close attention to patient monitoring needs and follow established ICU procedures.

• Support the ICU team through accurate, attentive, and dependable telemetry monitoring.
• Maintain a calm, focused approach in a fast-paced clinical environment.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Willingness to complete Gateway Regional Medical Center's basic dysrhythmia training - training is provided.

• Previous telemetry or healthcare experience is preferred.
