Responsibilities

• Perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization.
• Perform duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, Joint Commission and other licensing accrediting and regulatory agencies.
• Provide all clerical services for a nursing unit including guest relations for families, visitors and hospital personnel.

Qualifications

• Current BLS (AHA).
• Hospital/medical terminology experience.
• Computer literacy required.
• Able to interpret dysrhythmias on the cardiac monitor.
• High school diploma or equivalent technical training.
• Must pass pre‑hire dysrhythmia test.
• Acute care experience is preferred.
• Must pass annual dysrhythmia test.
• Ability to have a courteous and professional manner in regard to accomplishing responsibilities.
• Ability to act with self‑direction and take initiative.
• Ability to problem‑solve.
• Willingness to work with all staff members toward unit goals.
• Must have the ability to read, write and speak English.
