Job Summary and Qualifications

1. Continuously monitors electrocardiograph recordings on a central station monitor.
2. Maintains patient record according to hospital policy.
3. Communicates effectively with staff supervisors, ancillary departments, and other customers.
4. Maintains neat and organized work area.
5. Attends required annual and job-specific education opportunities.
6. Performs additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

Required: Previous experience in a healthcare setting.

Preferred: Previous monitor technician experience.

Education / Credentials

Required: Satisfactory completion of Basic Cardiac EKG Class.

This is a full-time Night Shift position with rotating weekends.
