$23.00 - $28.56 per hour

Position: Monitor Tech

What You'll Do: As a Monitor Tech, you will support the healthcare team by monitoring patient cardiac rhythms, notifying staff of abnormalities, maintaining records, and troubleshooting equipment:

1. Monitoring patient monitors and reporting changes to nursing staff.
2. Observing monitors during patient transportation under RN supervision.
3. Providing clerical support, including data entry, filing, and communication.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Prior experience in patient care/monitoring preferred.
• Skills: Basic arithmetic, reading, writing, technical competence, communication, customer service, software knowledge, multitasking, teamwork, and ability to fulfill essential functions.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Certified Cardiography Technician preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: EKG training, AHA BLS, LA City Fire Card, VPH Annual Competency.
