Job summary

Heritage Valley Beaver in Beaver, PA is seeking a Monitor Technician to provide continuous observation of the telemetry unit, accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms, and timely communication of rhythm changes to the nursing team. Work Hours: One 12 hr and one 8 hr shift per week, day/evening shift rotation, weekends and holidays

The Monitor Technician will be responsible continuous observation of telemetry unit, accurate assessment and interpretation of cardiac rhythms and/or arrhythmia's, complete evaluation and mounting of rhythm strips and communication of any rhythm change information to nursing staff.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent required.

Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Fundamental knowledge of arrhythmia interpretation and monitoring function is preferred.
