Job summary

Work Hours

One 12 hour and one 8 hour shift per week, day/night shift rotation, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Continuous observation of telemetry units.
• Accurate assessment and interpretation of cardiac rhythms and/or arrhythmias.
• Complete evaluation and mounting of rhythm strips.
• Communication of any rhythm change information to nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
• Fundamental knowledge of arrhythmia interpretation and monitoring function is preferred.
