Oneida Health Hospital in Oneida, NY is seeking a Monitor Care Technician for the ICU (7a-7p). You will observe cardiac monitors and report to the ICU Nursing Manager, recognizing rhythm disturbances and acting appropriately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ward Clerk, Nursing Assistant, and Cardiac Monitoring certifications required or willingness to train.
• Experience: Ward Clerk 1 year, Nursing Assistant 1 year, Monitor Tech 1 year preferred.

Responsabilités

• Observe and document cardiac monitor data accurately.
• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and route messages appropriately.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment according to hospital standards.
• Assist patients and families with needs using a customer-service approach.
• Perform ward clerical tasks as needed.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine cleaning tasks.
• Assist RN with patient education as needed.

Job Details: Job Location: Corporate - Oneida, NY 13421, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School/GED, Salary Range: $16.00 - $20.32 Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Days, Job Category: Nursing, Oneida Health Hospital is looking for a full-time Monitor Care Technician to work (7a-7p) in our ICU. This position is responsible for the observation of cardiac monitors and reports to the ICU Nursing Manager. The ideal candidate is able to recognize disturbances in cardiac rhythm and can act appropriately.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
