Job summary

Caldwell Transportation Company is seeking a dedicated bus aide to assist drivers in safe route operation and student management as defined by the school. You will learn and follow route sheets or electronic devices, support loading/unloading, and assist with wheelchair lifts while maintaining professional conduct.

Responsibilities include daily bus inspections, communication with school staff and parents, and participation in safety meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to speak Spanish preferred (not required).
• The ability to work early morning hours.
• Must maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward fellow employees and customers.
• Dress in a professional and appropriate manner for a business environment.
• Perform all job functions in the safest manner, adhering to OSHA guidelines and other applicable Federal and State laws.
• Execute all job duties while following company policy and procedure.
• Ability to use or learn to use the internet, additional programs as required, and office equipment.

• Clean the insides of the bus including sweeping, dusting and cleaning windows.
• Perform other specialized functions as required by contract.
