Job summary

Loyola University Chicago's Campus Safety department is seeking a part-time Monitor for the Rogers Park-Lake Shore Campus to help ensure the safety of residence halls and their occupants. The role involves monitoring entrances, verifying sign-ins, reporting suspicious activity, and performing related duties.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and 0–1 year of related experience. This position is located on campus in Chicago with non-exempt, part-time hours, under the Campus

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitoring individuals entering and exiting the residence halls.
• Ensuring that all guests sign in upon entrance to residence halls.
• Reporting any and all suspicious activity in their area to Campus Safety.
• Performing related duties as required.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

High School Diploma or GED and zero-one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to project a professional, friendly demeanor to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Prior experience in an educational environment a plus.
