We are seeking a Mid-Level MongoDB Administrator to join our database team within a large enterprise environment. The role focuses on managing MongoDB databases, supporting sharded clusters, and ensuring system performance and reliability across AWS and Linux platforms.

(Sharded clusters in MongoDB distribute data across multiple replica sets (shards) to achieve horizontal scalability and high availability.)

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain MongoDB databases in production
• Support and manage MongoDB sharded clusters
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
• Work within AWS and Linux environments
• Use MongoDB Ops Manager for monitoring, automation, and backups
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve database reliability and performance
