Job description

Primary Responsibilities

• Administer and support MongoDB environments including replica sets and sharded clusters.
• Install, configure, monitor, and optimize MongoDB databases for high availability and performance.
• Manage backup and recovery using mongodump, snapshots, and enterprise backup solutions.
• Implement database security including TLS, auditing, encryption, and access control.
• Troubleshoot replication, failover, and performance issues in MongoDB environments.
• Install, configure, and tune MySQL databases with focus on InnoDB performance optimization.
• Manage MySQL replication (Async/Semi-sync) and InnoDB Cluster environments.
• Perform backup and recovery using mysqldump, mysqlpump, Percona XtraBackup, and PITR.
• Optimize SQL queries, indexes, and schema design using EXPLAIN plans and monitoring tools.
• Support Sybase database administration activities and maintenance tasks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Database Administration experience across MongoDB, MySQL, and Sybase.
• Strong expertise in MongoDB architecture, replication, sharding, backup, and security.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL performance tuning, replication, and recovery strategies.
