Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Content Designer to join the Monetization Products team. You will shape UX strategy, craft concise, human UI copy for ad tech, and help define content standards for an AI-native product.

Collaborating with design, product, research, and marketing, you will drive consistency across monetization experiences, contribute to tooling and processes, and help scale content for large-scale campaigns from concept to launch. Based in San Jose, California.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of content design or UX writing for web or mobile applications.
• Experience collaborating with product, design, research, engineering, and localization teams.
• Curiosity and fluency with AI tools as part of your everyday content design workflow.
• Comfort working in — or directly alongside — the codebase (string edits, localization pipelines, etc.).
• A portfolio that includes UI copy, microcopy, user education, CD systems work, 0→1 projects, and self-led initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Execute content design and UX writing while embedded in monetization product workstreams.
• Craft, proofread, and edit concise, conversational UI copy that makes complex ad tech feel simple and human
• Contribute to and evolve TikTok Monetization's content, voice, and style guidelines
• Collaborate with and influence design, product, research, and marketing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Participate in design critiques to drive consistency and quality across monetization products
• Define efficient, scalable solutions for large-scale content problems — including tooling and process improvements
• Contribute to the team's AI toolkit: designing custom GPTs, building prompt frameworks, and identifying new ways AI can accelerate and enhance content design work
