Job summary

LocumTenens.com, LLC seeks an Interventional/Diagnostic Radiologist for an on-site assignment in Kentucky. Coverage is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call, weekends, or holiday duties.

The clinician will provide inpatient and clinic radiology reads and participate in light interventional procedures. Duties include reads across CT, MRI, US, NM and X-ray, with procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, drainages and fine-needle biopsies.

Qualifications

• ABR/ABOR board certification negotiable.
• Active state license preferred.
• Documentation of 500 radiological film readings within the past two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site inpatient and clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; no call, weekends, or holidays.
• Read across CT, MRI, US, NM and X-ray with light interventional radiology procedures.
• Procedural duties include paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, drainages, and fine needle biopsies of thyroid, breast, lymph node, and possibly liver/renal sites; ~8–10 procedures per day.
