Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or life science per NYSDOH regulatory requirements.
• 6 months of molecular lab work in a CAP/CLIA regulated lab.
• Certifications or licensure required by the state or county where the job is posted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the NGS library.
• Extract and isolate nucleic acids under SOPs.
• Complete hybridization capture, sequencing methods; operate automation platforms and sequencing instruments.
• Perform equipment maintenance and routine checks; ensure GDP-compliant documentation.
• Utilize LIMS to track sample processing and update records; support quality improvement.
