Job summary

Pantheon Health System, LLC is seeking a Molecular Laboratory Technician to join our clinical team. This role focuses on specialized molecular diagnostic testing to support disease diagnosis, clinical research, or patient care, with emphasis on accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of lab experience, degrees in molecular biology or related life sciences, and certifications (AMT/ASCP).

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology or related life science; at least 1 year of general laboratory experience.
AMT or ASCP certification required.
Vitros Chemistry analyzer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Sample Preparation: Receive, log, sort, and process biological specimens (blood, tissue, urine) using extraction techniques.
Molecular Testing: Perform PCR, RT-qPCR, and DNA/RNA sequencing.
Quality Control: Run standards and controls, calibrate equipment, and document QA activities to meet CLIA or CAP standards.
Data Management: Analyze test results and enter data into Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of lab instruments.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to biosafety and chemical safety protocols, including wearing PPE.
