Job summary

Vibrant America is seeking a detail-oriented Molecular Genetic Technologist I to support daily molecular lab operations, including DNA extraction, specimen handling, and reagent prep. The role involves automated liquid handling workflows and strict adherence to SOPs while working under supervision.

The position is full-time with a Tuesday–Saturday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM shift, offering opportunities for growth within a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment and exposure to cutting-edge multi-omics

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related scientific field.
At least six months of professional, hands-on experience in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory or similar setting.
Availability to work Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with flexibility for alternate schedules.

Responsibilities

Perform high-volume DNA extraction using automated liquid handling systems under supervision.
Receive, organize, label, rack, refrigerate, and archive specimens per SOPs.
Prepare specimens, reagents, and materials for molecular testing workflows.
Operate laboratory instruments after training.
Maintain accurate records of specimens, extraction runs, and instrument logs.
