Job summary
LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans invites applications for an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor in Molecular Epidemiology. Qualifications
- Doctorate in a relevant field (epidemiology, biostatistics, public health or related)
- Evidence of robust epidemiologic research program and potential for independent extramural funding
- Experience in mentoring students, postdocs, and junior faculty
Responsibilities
- Advise and mentor students, post-doctoral fellows, and junior faculty
- Develop and sustain an externally funded research program
- Conduct and publish in leading epidemiology and public health journals
- Collaborate across departments to advance health equity and population health
