The ideal candidates will hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D./Ph.D. degree, and be skilled in executing complex research projects. Collaboration within the Department and an ability to mentor new fellows and students are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated potential to secure extramural funding.
• Independent conduct of research projects.
• Capacity to train new postdoctoral fellows and graduate students.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage research projects with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate effectively within the Department and College of Medicine.
• Maintain an up-to-date and organized lab notebook.

Skills

Research expertise in molecular and cellular mechanisms

Skills in cellular, molecular, and biochemical techniques

Ability to evaluate experimental results

Experience in writing manuscripts for publication

Education
