Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed NYSDOH Certified Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• Bachelor's degree in CLT or biology/chemistry/physical sciences as applicable.
• One year of clinical lab experience (internship acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory and CAP requirements.
• Perform sample processing, nucleic acid extraction and PCR/NGS workflows.
• Conduct quality control and instrument maintenance per SOPs.
• Record data, quantify nucleic acids and validate test results.
• Assist in assay validation and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Communicate issues to lead tech or supervisor and order supplies.
