Job summary

The Brumbaugh lab at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Research Associate to perform both research and administrative tasks. The role involves coordinating lab activities and contributing to project management.

Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent in molecular biology, developmental biology, biochemistry, or a related field, and at least three years of postdoctoral experience. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate lab repositories of plasmids and cell lines.
• Organize biosafety certification and animal husbandry protocols.
• Introduce incoming lab members to common laboratory practices and safety guidelines.
• Oversee ordering of research items and communicate with vendors.
• Design and execute experiments and contribute to project management.
• Develop research technology and maintain reagents and equipment.
