Job summary

ATCC is hiring a Biologist for an onsite role in Manassas, VA. The position supports MSAT‑Molecular laboratory operations, molecular testing, and process improvement in a regulated lab environment.

You will perform nucleic acid testing, analyze data, and contribute to method verification, development, and technology transfer while supporting investigations and manufacturing efforts. Commitment to quality and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related field; 2 years' experience, or equivalent.
• Hands-on molecular biology including nucleic acid extraction and PCR/qPCR/ddPCR.
• Experience analyzing data and documenting results in regulated labs.
• Knowledge of quality systems and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform nucleic acid extraction, PCR, qPCR, ddPCR and related tests following protocols.
• Support investigations and troubleshooting of product and manufacturing issues.
• Assist with method verification, development and technology transfer.
• Participate in process improvement projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Analyze test results and maintain compliant documentation.
• Support routine laboratory operations and equipment use in a regulated environment.
