Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must possess a forklift operator's license or be willing to obtain certification.
• Ability to read and write and converse in English.
• Willing to uphold BD Values and comply with safety regulations.
• Exerts physical effort in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle stacking, corrugated case construction and perform duties at presses as volume dictates.
• Move and stack production pallets as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and an orderly condition of the molding department area.
• Observe safety and Good Manufacturing Practices and BD quality systems.
• Be familiar with materials and store them neatly and properly.
• Operate processes within the molding area and know component requirements.
• Record and report waste and assist inventory control.
• Transport components to staging and to Raw Material Warehouse.
• Scan materials to storage locations and prepare for transportation to production.
• Manage colorants and additives as needed.
• Maintain safe working conditions and report hazards to supervision.
• Operate a forklift safely.
• Work with limited supervision and cooperate across shifts and departments.
• Transport raw materials and finished goods as needed for production.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as required and respond to equipment alarms.
