Job summary

Responsibilities

• Communicate with upstream teams to resolve quality issues.

Job Description

The Molding Utility Operator will load, operate , and unload Die Trim and Case pack to produce rubber products consistent with product specifications, while maintaining production and quality standards and controlling waste.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Casepack :

• Program electronic scale to establish accurate weigh count per Casepack (according to stopper size ).
• Inspect, close, label, and assign Casepack to the proper pallet.
• Maintain accurate lot history and quality assurance documentation.
• Maintains accurate production and lot history documentation through computer-based systems.
• Maintains a neat and orderly production environment.
• Continually monitors in-process quality, addressing issues as needed to prevent product holds.
• Perform and document all required Q uality C ontrol checks.
• Generates hold tickets as needed.
• Observes all safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements (QSR).
• Perform rework as required .
• Communicate with upstream manufacturing and technical associates to address and prevent quality issues.

Die Trim:

• Load molded stopper pads onto Die Trim cavity belt.
• Trim stoppers and remove full totes.
• Maintain standard production, quality and waste.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent experience
• Must be proficient with simple math.
• Ability to Multi-task

Preferred Requirements:

• 6 - 12 months of manufacturing experience
• Must have the dexterity to use a hammer and dinker (hole punch)
• Must have the ability to use scissors
• Must be forklift qualifiable (electric pallet jack only)
• Computer Literacy
