Job summary

Amcor LLC in Oregon is seeking a Molding Technician to support injection molding operations. You will start up and troubleshoot machines, maintain colorant and foil supplies, and assist with quality and safety standards.

The role features 12-hour shifts (2 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off) with starting pay of $25 per hour, increasing to $26 after 90 days, plus benefits including medical, dental and vision, and a 401(k) plan. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

  • Start-up and troubleshooting of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Maintain steady supply of colorant and material to the machines.
  • Maintain foil supply on hot stamping equipment.
  • Flexible schedule including overtime as needed and notice provided.
  • Starting pay provided with potential raise after evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with on-coming/off-going Mold Techs for instructions and quality info.
  • Collect and inspect daily production reports and perform data entry as required.
  • Maintain area free of safety hazards and report issues to Shift Supervisor.
  • Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance on machine malfunctions.
  • Provide coverage for Shift Supervisor duties when needed.

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe primary duties and responsibilities of the Molding Technician consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Start-up and troubleshooting of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.Maintain steady uninterrupted supply of colorant and material to the machines.Maintain foil supply on hot stamping equipment.Give breaks to other co-workers within dept. as necessary.Adjust and/or repair minor services on axillary equipment and machines.
