Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Packer/Handler to join our production team in Warren, OR. You will maintain a clean, safe workspace, inspect products for quality, and assemble containers with gaskets and handles. You will also label, pack, and assist with material handling, while adhering to production cycles and quality standards.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with a scheduled 12-hour shift pattern. Pay may rise to $19.00 per hour after 90 days based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to keep up with fast-paced production cycles.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds safely.
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods as required by workstation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Inspect product to ensure quality and reject items not meeting standards.
• Assemble products by installing gaskets and handles as required.
• Handle labeling and packaging per customer instructions.
• Support material handling and other tasks as needed.
• Clean up during downtime and complete required paperwork.
• Follow Amcor’s safety and quality guidelines.

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe primary duties and responsibilities of the OP1 consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Maintain a safe, clean and organized work areaInspect product to ensure quality. Set aside product that is below quality standards. Work closely with Team Leader and alert Mold Tech and Supervisor of any quality issues or reject conditions. Watch molds for irregularities or sticking.
