Job summary

Meritec in Painesville, Ohio seeks a Molding Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead tool room and toolmaking staff, oversee tooling for Arburg and Milacron machines, and drive automation and process optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability and quality while managing tooling sourcing and lifecycle.

Required are a BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/ Chemical Engineering, 5+ years in injection molding, and leadership with experience in automation,

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Meritec's in-house Tool Room and toolmaking staff.
• Lead and mentor process and stamping engineers in high-precision molding operations.
• Implement molding, automation, and material reprocessing to reduce waste.
• Oversee tooling and equipment sourcing to meet cost, technology, and lead-time goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturability and quality.
