Job summary

Röchling Medical in Rochester, MN is seeking a hands-on manufacturing technician to support production through set-ups, changeovers, and equipment adjustments. You will start up and stabilize machinery, document data, and work with maintenance to resolve issues while ensuring GMP and safety standards.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, process stability, and collaboration with production leadership to meet schedules and quality targets.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine set-ups and process changeovers in accordance with the production schedule
• Prepare, change, and adjust tools as well as relevant machine and equipment components
• Set and adjust production parameters in line with defined process specifications
• Start up and stabilize equipment after changeovers until defined process and product quality are achieved
• Analyze and resolve technical issues within the scope of the role
• Collaborate with Maintenance in resolving more complex technical problems
• Perform planned maintenance and servicing activities within the defined scope of responsibility
• Initiate appropriate actions in case of quality deviations in coordination with Production Leadership and Quality
• Document setup, process, and production data
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities (e.g., reduction of setup time, improvement of process stability, scrap reduction)
• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality management, GMP, occupational safety, and environmental regulations

Your role

Depending on the site and technological environment, the role may also include additional responsibilities such as:

• Working with specific production technologies (e.g., injection molding, EBM, assembly, automated production systems)
• Handling advanced tooling technologies or complex automation systems
• Performing extended maintenance or servicing tasks
• Guiding or instructing other employees during setup and changeover processes
• Supporting process improvement initiatives within the respective technology area
