Job summary

Röchling Medical is seeking a maintenance technician to perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities, document activities, and assist in the setup of equipment and work cells. You will insert tools, adjust timing and speeds per engineering specifications, maintain production and quality logs, uphold 5S and safety standards, and support cross‑departmental operations.

The role supports GMP compliance and continuous improvement while offering flexible/mobile work

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities.
• Maintains documentation of same.
• Performs various testing and monitoring of facility to meet safety, regulatory and quality performance standards.
• Assists in the setting-up of equipment, workstations, and work cells.
• Inserts tools into machines and makes adjustments such as timing, indexing, feed rate, speed, sensing devices, and other machine parts that conform to engineering specifications and standards.
• Maintains production and quality logs/records.
• Maintains tools and work area to 5S and safety standards.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts on machinery or within the facility.
• Starts machines to test their performance, and assists workers with basic machine adjustments or repairs.
• Assists Janitorial department with all janitorial duties and responsibilities.
• May be required to make runs with company vehicle to pick-up and drop off parts and equipment.
• Shovel snow, treat grounds with ice melt and operate snow blower in winter months.
• Adhere to all company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Follows the official policy for Good Manufacturing Practices as required in the Medical Device Amendments to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
• Provides feedback and pro-active communication to supervisor, management, and co-workers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Contributes input to management based on knowledge of processes toward process and product improvement efforts of the company.
• Provide other department and manufacturing support as requested by immediate supervisor.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
