Job summary

Röchling Medical in Rochester, MN, is seeking a skilled production technician to perform machine set-ups, changeovers, and parameter adjustments to meet strict GMP standards. You will prepare tools, start up and stabilize equipment, and document all setup and process data.

As part of a multi-site manufacturing team, you will collaborate with Maintenance to resolve technical issues, contribute to continuous improvement, and ensure quality and compliance across production shifts, including

Qualifications

• Experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Ability to interpret technical process specifications.
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine set-ups and changeovers according to the production schedule.
• Prepare, change, and adjust tools and relevant machine components.
• Set and adjust production parameters per defined process specifications.
• Start up and stabilize equipment after changeovers until defined process and product quality is achieved.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues within the scope of the role.
• Collaborate with Maintenance in resolving more complex technical problems.
• Perform planned maintenance and servicing activities within the defined scope of responsibility.
• Initiate appropriate actions in case of quality deviations in coordination with Production Leadership and Quality.
• Document setup, process, and production data.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities (e.g., reduction of setup time, improvement of process stability, scrap reduction).
• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality management, GMP, occupational safety, and environmental regulations.

• Perform machine set-ups and process changeovers in accordance with the production schedule

• Set and adjust production parameters in line with defined process specifications
• Start up and stabilize equipment after changeovers until defined process and product quality are achieved
• Analyze and resolve technical issues within the scope of the role

• Working with specific production technologies (e.g., injection molding, EBM, assembly, automated production systems)
• Handling advanced tooling technologies or complex automation systems
• Performing extended maintenance or servicing tasks
• Guiding or instructing other employees during setup and changeover processes
