What You’ll Do

If you like working with your hands to fix things, this job may be for you! Our Set-Up Technicians are an essential part of our production team, ensuring that we can run production by switching out the molds/dies of our injection molding machines. This is a hands on job that we've found mechanically inclined individuals to love! If you love working on your car, renovating your home or troubleshooting issues on machines - we want you and can train you! Based out of our Cullman facility, this position reports directly to the team supervisor.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and adjust injection molding machines to achieve optimal production efficiency and quality standards.
  • Climb in and out of injection molding equipment in order to best performmold and color changes
  • Clean color feeders, hoppers, etc.
  • Ensure machines are supplied with appropriate materials and cover machine assignments as needed
  • Troubleshoot injection molding processes and equipment
  • Monitor, document and control the injection molding process parameters, including temperature, pressure, and cycle times.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all aspects of the injection molding process.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 55lbs
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking and performing repetitive tasks
  • Bending and stooping
  • Ability to use fingers, hands and arms to complete a task (dexterity)
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • All employees must wear approved safety glasses
Starting Wage: $20-$24/hour + quarterly bonuses based on business progress
What You’ll Bring
Qualifications:
  • Proven hands-on technical experience (work or personal) is highly preferred (utility, maintenance, process tech, etc.)
    • Experience with injection molding equipment is a plus
  • High school diploma/GED or 3-5 years of solid manufacturing experience
  • Willing and able to work overtime
  • Ability to work 2nd Shift (4pm-12am) and3rd Shift (12am-8am) but train on 1st shift(8am-4pm)for several weeks
