Job summary

Magna Exteriors in the United States is seeking an Inventory/Materials Planner to manage molded part inventory, schedule production, and support continuous improvement. You will work with Materials to reconcile variances, purchase recurring items, and balance labor across shifts to optimize efficiency.

The role requires an associate degree in inventory or supply chain management and knowledge of SPC. Proficiency with Trans4M, MS Office, and Excel is preferred; experience in a JIT environment is

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Inventory or Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Six years work experience may substitute for the degree.
• Familiar with SPC analysis and materials scheduling practices.

Responsibilities

• Daily count of molded part inventory and dunnage.
• Generate the daily Molding Production Schedule and maintain 3 days or less inventory for high-volume parts.
• Balance labor requirements per shift to maximize efficiency and support inventory turns.
• Generate weekly Molding Capacity Report and overtime needs.
• Participate in continuous improvement teams (QRPS, GCAR) and TS-16949 procedures.
