Job summary

Channell is seeking a Process Technician in Rockwall, TX to set up and operate molding, finishing and assembly equipment to meet daily production schedules. The role includes preventive maintenance and supporting manufacturing to ensure safe, quality parts.

You will manage mold changes, machine adjustments, start-up/shutdown, and record daily performance data. Candidates should have at least 1 year of molding/processing experience, strong mechanical skills, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of molding plastics, processing and maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in machine start-up and shutdown. Knowledge of basic machine functions.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of Material Handling systems.
• Must be able to speak, read/comprehend, and write in English.
• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Good vision with or without corrective lenses.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate material handling, molding, finishing and assembly equipment.
• Responsible for mold changes and machine adjustments.
• Start up and shut down of the molding machines.
• Fill out daily process records to control and maintain machine running conditions.
• Monitor production quantities for color change, mold change and product completions.
• Promote and maintain safety, quality and environmental awareness in the area.
