Job summary

Dover Corporation in Roseville, MN is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician to develop and optimize molding processes, ensuring parts meet size, appearance, flash, and cycle-time specifications while maintaining standard setup sheets and instructions. You will troubleshoot presses, support safety and quality goals, manage mold changes, and document improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; 2-year technical degree preferred.
• 5–7 years’ experience in plastic processing of molding machines with experience in injection molding.
• 2+ years of Injection Molding experience.
• Experience with scientific molding (IQ/OQ/PQ); medical/biopharma industry experience preferred.
• Strong written/verbal communication, computer literacy, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter, detail-oriented, able to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Willing to travel up to 5% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Develop Injection Molding /Scientific Molding processes to specs (size, appearance, flash, splay, cycle time).

• Basic maintenance of tooling.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

• High School Diploma; 2-year Technical Degree preferred.
• 5-7 years’ experience in plastic processing of molding machines with experience in injection molding and have working knowledge of various mold concepts.
• 2+ years of Injection Molding experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience and working knowledge of scientific molding. (IQ / OQ / PQ). Prior experience working in medical & biopharmaceutical industries preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication, computer literacy, basic program management skills, problem solving techniques, strong organizational skills.
• Self-starter and able to solve problems correctly using own initiative, analysis, creativity.
• Strong attention to detail and proven accuracy.
• Proven ability to work independently, multitask and to collaborate cross functionally.
• This role may require less than 5% of travel domestically. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.
