Job summary

Penmac Staffing is hiring Mold Shop Operators for a manufacturing facility in Dallas, NC. This role offers hands-on injection molding work in a fast-paced production environment with opportunities to grow manufacturing skills.

Qualifications

Penmac Staffing is seeking experienced Injection Molding Operators for an exciting new manufacturing facility in the Dallas, NC area! If you have hands-on injection molding experience and are looking to grow with a cutting-edge, automated manufacturer, this is your opportunity.

Available Shifts

1st Shift: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:15 PM | $25.00/hr

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:15 PM | $27.50/hr

3rd Shift: Monday-Friday | 11:15 PM- 7:15AM | $27.50/hr

Requirements for the Mold Shop Operator

• High school diploma or GED preferred; manufacturing or production experience is a plus
• Ability to read work instructions, measurements, and quality documentation
• Basic math, reading, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience using measuring tools such as gauges, fixtures, and calipers preferred
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Dependable team player with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality

Mold Shop Operator Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machines, BHB machines, and auxiliary equipment to produce quality parts
• Perform secondary operations including trimming, milling, heat staking, welding, and pad printing
• Inspect products using customer quality standards, measuring tools, gauges, and visual inspections
• Read and follow production documents, work instructions, setup sheets, and quality criteria
• Complete production and quality records accurately
• Assist with material handling, material verification, hopper cleaning, and machine changeovers as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all company safety and lockout/tagout procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality personnel, and team members while supporting continuous improvement efforts
