Staffmark Group is hiring a Molding Operator in Atlanta, GA. This role operates injection molding equipment, monitors quality, and helps produce consistent results in a fast-paced production setting.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, read and interpret work instructions, and possess basic math and safety knowledge. Experience with injection molding is highly preferred. The shift is 11 PM–7:30 AM, offering steady night work and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor injection molding machines.
  • Inspect, trim, assemble, and package molded parts to meet specs.
  • Handle raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
  • Complete work orders and production records accurately.
  • Read and apply training materials and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and support 5S and CI initiatives.
  • Ensure materials, tools, and liquids are stored properly and clear of walkways.
  • Meet productivity, quality and customer service goals.

Location: Atlanta, GA

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (Based on epeirence)

Schedule: 11 PM - 7:30 AM

Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply work instructions, training manuals, and production documentation.
  • Basic math, communication, and manufacturing skills preferred.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience in injection molding, plastic manufacturing, plastics processing, or production operations preferred.
  • Experience operating injection molding machines and handling plastic components highly desired.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection, part trimming, packaging, and assembly processes.
  • Ability to complete production paperwork, work orders, and manufacturing documentation accurately.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles is a plus.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle raw materials, molded parts, and finished goods as required.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for trimming, inspection, assembly, and packaging tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail during repetitive manufacturing processes.
Job Duties
  • Operate and monitor injection molding machines used in the production of plastic components and products.
  • Inspect, trim, assemble, and package molded parts to meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
  • Handle raw materials, work-in-progress inventory, and finished goods throughout the production process.
  • Complete work orders, production records, and related documentation accurately and on time.Follow all company safety policies and promptly report potential safety concerns or hazards.
  • Read, understand, and apply training materials, work instructions, and production procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure materials, parts, tools, and liquids are properly stored and kept clear of equipment and walkways.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and customer service expectations while supporting team production goals.
