Job summary

Hi-Lex Controls in Hudson, MI is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead molding production on the second shift. You will assign and monitor work, ensure safety and 4S, and drive quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

This role requires an associate degree or 2–5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing (molding preferred), hands-on problem solving, and the ability to train associates in machine processes and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and/or 2–5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing (molding preferred).
• Hands-on experience with molding processes and changeovers is a plus.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitors work of associates to ensure production requirements are met.
• Ensures safety, 4S and quality standards are maintained.
• Performs process adjustments and changeovers as needed.
• Trains associates in machine processes and problem solving.
• Maintains documentation and ensures production schedules are followed.
• Notifies materials department of shortages and repairs minor machine problems.
