BD in Columbus, Nebraska seeks a Manufacturing Quality/ Production Associate to perform dimensional, functional, and visual testing of molded products. You will document results, report defects, and ensure correct labeling and packaging.

The role requires basic computer skills, good organization, and clear written and spoken communication. Responsibilities include line clearances, inventory containment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; minimum 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform dimensional, functional testing and visual quality checks.
• Proficient in basic computer use and documentation quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, functional testing and visual quality checks.
• Report defects to the quality group and management.
• Complete all required paperwork for products.
• Pack finished products and label contents.
• Maintain communication to resolve problems and changes promptly.
• Perform line clearances and ensure correct labels.
• Record issues and discrepancies during production.
• Assist with cross-training and on-the-job training.
• Transport materials to support production.
• Cycle count inventory and investigate discrepancies.
