Job summary

Pyrotek is seeking a Mold Technician to create, repair and develop molds for specialty fireplace products. You will set up woodworking machinery, read blueprints, and work from CAD designs to ensure precise fit and finish.

Shift is Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement. You will maintain molds, perform regular equipment upkeep, and collaborate with team members to resolve issues and ensure smooth production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of cabinet making, precision woodworking, and/or mold building experience.
• Proficient with handheld and motorized woodworking, table saw operation, and ability to read blueprints and CAD designs.
• Able to apply measurements with fractions and decimals and reference dimensions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate woodworking machines to ensure manufacturability of molds.
• Repair and maintain molds and mold-making equipment; develop new molds and processes.
• Collaborate with team to resolve internal/external issues and ensure safety and quality.
