Vital Plastics LLC in Baldwin, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Mold Technician for the S4 shift (8:00 PM–6:30 AM, Mon–Thu) with a 10% shift differential. You will set up and run plastic injection molding machines, perform adjustments, and troubleshoot to maintain quality across materials.

Strong hands-on experience and safety adherence are essential. The role involves equipment setup, changeovers, BOM verification, and collaboration with maintenance and tooling.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years Injection Molding Experience.
• Mechanically inclined and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Overhead hoist and forklift experience.
• Basic computer skills including email and data entry.

Responsabilidades

• Install, set up, process and troubleshoot injection molding machines to optimize production efficiency and ensure product quality.
• Set up and adjust auxiliary equipment and robotic systems for containment and packaging requirements.
• Follow MWIs, prints, specs, work orders and production documentation.
• Identify and resolve molding process issues and quality defects.
• Perform changeovers, record downtime and scrap, verify BOMs.
• Maintain containment and cleanliness per SOPs and housekeeping standards.
• Report issues to Maintenance and Tooling using respective systems.
• Communicate tooling concerns to Tooling Department via the WO system.
• Operate and monitor machinery safely within company safety policies.
