Position: Mold Technician
Location: Chatham, NY
Pay: A range of $24.98 - $28.39 an hour based on experience (+ $1.00 an hour for 3rd shift differential pay)
Shift: Swing shift - alternates weekly, 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm
Third shift: 11pm-7am

The Mold Technician is responsible for ensuring safety and quality in mold installation and operation. The role requires experience with proper mold setup, understanding of key processing parameters, and the ability to produce high-quality products.

Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining a safe work environment and supporting injury-free operations.
2. Following safety rules and leading by example in safe work procedures.
3. Participating in safety audits and new equipment inspections.
4. Assisting with mold inspection, installation, and setup.
5. Applying troubleshooting skills to analyze tooling, processes, and machines.
6. Collaborating with Engineering on process development and productivity initiatives.
7. Working with Shift Process Technicians to improve process efficiency.
8. Interpreting quality data related to molding processes.
9. Maintaining accurate documentation and data communication.
10. Occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of practical experience in mold technology.
• Preferably, a minimum two-year technical degree.
• Must pass Work Keys Mathematics and Technical Aptitude tests.
• Working knowledge of IQMS system and basic PC skills.
