Job summary

Airlite Plastics, based in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Mold Specialist to manage the setup, operation, and optimization of high-speed injection molding machines and robots. You will ensure parts meet quality standards, monitor scrap rates, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and process high-speed injection molding machines and robots.
• Adjust machine settings to meet quality specifications and reduce scrap.
• Perform start-up/shutdown procedures and color/material changes as needed.
• Inspect product quality and document results; communicate with quality auditors.
• Maintain safe working practices and housekeeping; follow PM programs.
• Collaborate with team on new machines, processes and materials.
• Maintain logs of adjustments and repairs and support shift handoffs.
