Job summary

McDonald Plastic Molding, part of A.Y. McDonald Industries, is seeking an committed operator for molding production. This role focuses on initial startup of new production runs, process improvements to reduce scrap, and troubleshooting equipment with engineering support.

You will document processes, perform changeovers, and support safe, efficient manufacturing. The position requires hands-on work on molding machines, daily rounds, and use of forklifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up on new production runs after mold sets are complete.
• Troubleshoot process issues with equipment and consult with designers and engineers.
• Set up and changeover equipment for molding machines and secondary operations.
• Document and record all production runs and maintain setup records.
• Operate forklifts and assist with machine adjustments as needed.
