Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Mold Shift Lead in Tucson to provide hands-on technical support, training, and direction for the mold team. You will coordinate operators, support setup and troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement to meet quality and production targets.

The role requires at least 3 years of related experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read drawings and machine programs. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered in a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Must be able to interpret programs required for mold department machines.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with MS Office and ability to read work instructions and drawings.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support mold team during daily operations.
Assign work, balance workloads, and ensure staffing aligns with production priorities.
Provide real-time guidance to ensure work is performed correctly and efficiently.
Monitor machine performance and respond to downtime.
Conduct shift start-up meetings and communicate daily goals, safety topics, and quality priorities.
Escalate staffing, performance, or operational issues to the Supervisor as needed.
Track and communicate progress toward daily/weekly production plans.
Verify First Article Inspection processes and approvals are completed.
Support troubleshooting for defects and implement corrective actions.
Participate in Cost Reduction, Kaizen, and Lean Transformation efforts.
