The ideal candidate will have hands-on mold setup experience and be comfortable working independently to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous mold setup experience required.
• Manufacturing or plastics production experience strongly preferred.
• Experience installing and removing production molds.
• Ability to perform machine startups and basic process adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Set and install molds according to production schedules and work orders.
• Remove and pull molds after production runs or during changeovers.
• Perform mold and machine changeovers efficiently.
• Prepare equipment and tooling for production.
• Start machines and verify proper operation before releasing them for production.
• Make necessary adjustments to achieve acceptable production and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot mold, machine, and process-related issues.
• Identify problems and make appropriate corrections to minimize downtime.
• Verify proper setup, alignment, connections, and operating parameters.
• Work closely with machine operators, production supervisors, maintenance, and quality personnel.
• Follow established safety procedures and company work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with other production-related responsibilities as needed.
