Job summary

NDS, a member of NORMA Group, is seeking motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team. The role involves removing and installing molds, setting up processing conditions, and adhering to safety protocols to achieve high-quality parts and efficient cycle times.

Ideal candidates have HS education, 3 years of manufacturing experience including 1 year on injection molding, and strong English communication. A forklift capability is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Basic computer knowledge and software literacy.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing practices, especially plastics injection molding.

Responsibilities

• Change out molds in machines in a timely manner following Safety procedures.
• Set up machine process conditions to yield best part quality at optimum cycle times.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, molds, machines, product quality, and performance.

Summary

Remove and install molds in machines. Set up the machine process conditions for best part quality and cycle time, and mold protection.

Responsibilities

• Cange out molds in machines in a timely manner following company Safety procedures
• Set up machine process conditions that will yield best part quality at optimum cycle times
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, molds, machines, product quality, and overall performance
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment all the time
• Be a role model in applying the NDS Core Values
• Perform any other jobs as directed from time to time

Abilities

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking in English language
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good knowledge of manufacturing practices, especially in plastics injection molding
• Operate an industrial forklift

Position Requirements

• Education: High School graduate
• Three years of manufacturing experience with a minimum of one year on setting up injection molding machines and molds.
• English verbal and written communication is essential
