Job summary

Magna International in Northwood, Ohio is seeking a dedicated team member for scheduling tooling and inventory management. Duties include scheduling production tools and performing inventory checks, contributing to an efficient production line.

This role is critical to maintaining operations in our dynamic environment. The candidate should be adaptable to flexible hours for the 2nd shift and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tooling trucks and presses for production.
• Perform service counts and inventory variance investigations.
• Work with APQP to schedule trials and pre-production runs.
• Assist with resin ordering.
• Perform WIP counts to ensure accurate inventories.
• Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Assist in tracking data for scrap, customer rejects, and cycle time.
• Flexible hours required for 2nd shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Schedule tooling trucks, presses and punch presses for production to meet paint line scheduling
• Perform service counts, inventory variance investigations, adjustments and corrections
• Work with APQP to schedule trials and pre-production runs
• Assist with resin ordering
• Perform WIP counts to ensure accurate inventories
• Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts. Reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist in tracking and communication of data for scrap, customer rejects, uptime, cycle time, etc.
• 2nd Shift Flexible Hours Are Required
• Other duties as assigned.
