Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Mold Repair Technician to repair and maintain molds, fixtures, and tooling per specifications. You will read blueprints, set up and operate machines, and perform preventive maintenance to support continuous production.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork; you will report to the Maintenance Manager and ensure tools are repaired on time, with duties including mold changes, troubleshooting, and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
• 5+ years experience as Maintenance Injection Mold Technician preferred.
• Experience with metal working tools including drills, milling machines, grinders and lathes.
• Troubleshooting knowledge in injection operation & assembly.
• Ability to lift heavy objects; experience with carbide tooling.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, design schematics and CAD drawings.
• Visualizing and computing metal shapes and tolerances.
• Set up and operate grinders, mills, lathes, drill presses, and heat treatments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders.
• Assist with mold changes and troubleshoot injection molding equipment.
